Incident number: Incident 571 of 14 July

An arrest has been made following a fight in Winchester Avenue, Leicester, last week.

Police were called at 6.22pm on Friday 14 July to a report of a group of men fighting in the street, moving onto Narborough Road and towards Raymond Road.

Two people were injured in the incident. A 20-year-old man has a puncture wound. A 32-year-old man has minor injuries and initially went to hospital, but has since been discharged.

Today (Monday 17 July), a 32-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of affray and remains in police custody.

Investigating officers are continuing their enquiries into the incident and would still encourage anyone who was in the area at the time and may have dashcam footage of what happened, please contact police.
